What’s Up With the Wises –March Update
February gave us a little bit of everything this year — family time, a West Coast adventure for part of the family, winter sunsets here at home, and a few projects around the house.
Earlier this month, Maggie, Peter, and baby Waylon made a trip out to San Francisco for a little family adventure. One of their stops was the famous Alcatraz Island, where they explored the historic prison and took in the incredible views of the bay.
They also visited the Monterey Bay Aquarium, which turned out to be a huge hit — especially for Waylon. Watching a baby stare wide-eyed at the glowing jellyfish tanks might be one of the purest forms of entertainment there is. It’s safe to say the ocean life had his full attention.
Back home in Ohio, Michelle and I stayed put, keeping things moving here and enjoying a quieter stretch of winter. February has actually given us some beautiful moments outside — especially a few incredible sunrises and sunsets across the snowy fields that make Northwest Ohio look like a postcard.
We’ve also had some great family time this month, including visits with Mom and Dad and a surprise visit from my brother, Ron and his family. Those moments are always the best reminder of what really matters.
Like many homeowners this time of year, we’ve also been tackling a few home projects. One of the rooms is getting a full refresh with new flooring, paint, and lighting. It’s amazing how a little work can completely change a space, and it’s been fun seeing the transformation come together.
As we start turning the corner toward spring, things are already beginning to pick up in the local real estate market. If you’ve been thinking about buying, selling, or just wondering what your home might be worth in today’s market, I’m always happy to help.
Until next month — thanks for following along with the Wise family and for being part of the Buckeye Backroads community.
